What happens when I go for a reflexology treatment?On the first visit personal details will be asked and will be treated with confidentiality; these will include questions about your general health, past medical history, and what your goal is for the treatment.
A treatment consists of pressure being applied to the reflexes on the feet which correspond to various parts of the body. It also involves some relaxation massage type movements on the feet and around the ankles.
The first treatment lasts around 1 1/2 hours and costs £35.
Subsequent treatments last 1 hour and cost £30.
What happens at a Nutritional Therapy consultation?
On making an appointment a questionnaire will be sent prior to the consultation. This will ask in-depth questions about your whole medical history and family history together with questions about your dietary history and lifestyle, this is treated as confidential information. During the consultation it may become apparent that diagnostic laboratory tests may be beneficial such as a thyroid profile, adrenal stress, cardiovascular or chronic fatigue profiles. Intestinal permeability and allergy testing as well as hormonal testing are available through Genova diagnostic laboratories.
An initial nutritional therapy consultation costs £75 and lasts 1 1/2 hours.
A follow up consultation after 4-6 weeks lasts 45 minutes and costs £35.
Diagnostic tests and supplements are an additional cost and vary in price.
